I think Gaza’s internet is still cut. I’m not seeing Palestinians press videos. I’m worried on what is happening in the dark. People are not making as much noise of the blackout of Gaza now as they did the first time Israel cut them off. Whatever little water and food that is getting through aren’t even enough for the people in the south. None of it is getting to the people in the North. Every time Israel cuts the internet, noise made on social media needs to be loud. Please everyone lets make noise.
They are ramping up operations. They are murdering the truth tellers because they’ve labelled journalists that stand against the genocide being carried out by Israel “Hamas propagandists”. They’re using illegal munitions on Gaza, such as cluster bombs, white phosphorous, and others against the civilians in the world’s largest open-air prison. Do not stop talking about this. Keep an eye on Al Jazeera English (or whatever language you may speak, pretty sure AJ covers a ton but I sadly don’t know for sure).
Keep yourself updated, keep talking about it, and keep making clear that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians.
After failing to paint Palestinians as uniquely homophobic, people are now trying to paint them as uniquely antiblack.
Non black palestinians are antiblack because antiblackness is universal. Trying to do this, saying “they are racist so we shouldn’t care about them”, apart from ignoring the historical solidarity between palestinians and africans and black americans (Mandela, Malcom X, the BPP and the support palestinians gave protesters doing Ferguson while the american police was being trained by the IDF) also ignores a very important but overlooked fact: black palestinians in Gaza are currently being slaughtered along with everyone else.
And also it wasn’t palestinians who sterilized Ethiopian Jewish women without their consent.
Also Palestinians were huge supporters for BLM!! There is a George floyd mural next to the Ahed Tamimi one (she’s become like a symbol for Palestinian freedom and liberation). I remember many of my friends and other Palestinians making tiktoks about how to resist or cope with tear gas when it was used on protestor in the USA in 2020. Not to mention the Nelson Mandela statue in ramallah. Palestinians always stood up for humanitarian causes and Israel tries to paint them as anti black or homophopic as if to justify genocide.
And what op said about Israel sterilizing Ethiopian jew women without their consent, and the constant racism towards Yemenite and Ethiopian jews.
Israel is a zionist colonial state and it shouldn’t take you long to realize that.
